Mercedes-Benz is likelt to launch the Two Seater Luxury car SLS AMG anytime during the third Quarter. if you wish to by be prepared to save anywhere between 5-6 Crore. the Import duty and other taxes will increase the price in India compared to Europe. the SLS is Available in third Quarter,though a date for the Official Launch has not yet been determined," said Piyush Arora, Mercedes-Benz India director (technical) and board member. He indicated that "the price of the Sports car Could be Around Rs 5-6 Crore. the Luxury car will get a 6208 CC engine that will carry a Heavy Import duty on all CBU units (Completely Built Unit) that attracts 120% duty on the price of the Car, the costums Would be around 106 %, the remainig falling under countervailing CVD and additional duties," Said Abdul Majeed,PricewaterhouseCoopers Leader, Auto practice. The Company Will launch the Model after it Launched the Right-Hand Drive car in Germany in July after which it will Imported from there after it launch. The Company has Already received 12 order before its launch from different parts of the Company Expects bulk of the Sales for SLS AMG car from northern part of the Country.
